What care means to us
My name is Anna, and this is not a business.
This is everything to me — a humble expression of care for those who share a love of simple ingredients and thoughtful hygiene.
This journey began many years ago when I experienced the effects of big-business, mass-produced soap — or what was sold as soap. My skin, and the skin of my children, family, and friends, began to show signs of distress: dryness, irritation, eczema.
That experience brought me back to my 100-year-old grandmother.
She lived in a small village on the island of Crete and made soap from almost nothing — ashes and oils pressed from plants and flowers growing in her garden and on the surrounding hillsides. Her life was not an easy one. She endured the hardships of village life and lived through two world wars. She had every reason to have weathered skin.
Instead, her skin was supple, smooth, and luminous.
Inspired by her, I began experimenting with small batches of all-natural soap made with simple ingredients. At first, it was just for my family. Then a little more for friends. The people closest to me began sharing their experiences — healthier skin, fewer irritations, a return to comfort.
Today, we create small-batch bath and body products, rooted in the care that I learned from my grandmother’s homestead, and carried forward by thoughtful, modern artisan craftsmanship. We source and use high-quality ingredients. We are still small, but we are no longer alone. We are a small team dedicated to sharing that same care.
The Clean Care Program is guided by our experience and our belief that small-batch soap, simple ingredients, thoughtful hygiene, and quality bath and body products are a healthier path for long-term skin well-being.
